Valley Natural Foods is the 2009 recipient of the Howard Bowers Fund Award of Excellence. Everyone is welcome to shop, you do not have to be a member, but once you discover the co-op difference you may want to become a part of this thriving community business. Stop by our store and experience the excellence of our co-op for yourself. 
August 1-September 30 is the peak season for fresh, local food. Look for local items highlighted on our shelves at our co-op. Be sure to join us every Saturday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. for Produce Possibilities at our demo kiosk. We will be sure to feature local ingredients. Menu Ideas will be offered in our store or you can access our Field Fresh Recipes to eat in season. During Eat Local, America! we will host our second annual Farm Fest (the third Saturday of September). Over 25 local farmers, producers and roasters will be on hand to sample what they do best. It’s a chance to meet farmers and producers face to face. Enjoy a BBQ fundraiser that will support our MN Valley YMCA. Radio Disney will be on hand for exciting fun for the kids with a live show and dance contests from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Enjoy live music, hourly prize drawings, and tours of our own Garden Classroom. If you want to visit a working organic farm, Gardens of Eagan is hosting a special tour for members and shoppers of Valley Natural Foods. The tour is free and a boxed lunch is optional. The tour is Saturday, Sept. 25 from noon-3 p.m. E-mail info@valleynaturalfoods.com for registration and details.
